We're excited to present UserLink, a central location for our users to collaborate, learn, and interact. This site is set up independently from our main web site and is built on the Community Server platform. We are aware a few of you are very familiar with this software and the rest of you should find it is very easy to work with.
UserLink currently has the following features:
Customer Forums (
http://userlink.servergrid.com/forums/default.aspx)
Provide a place for users and prospective users to communicate with each other and our staff. Various topics are covered and we will be adding additional sections as necessary to best organize your thoughts.
Network Status (
http://userlink.servergrid.com/forums/5/ShowForum.aspx)
Presents the status of any network or server issues in a single location and automates RSS and email notifications of new information. This is implemented as a section of the forums to make additional discussion possible.
Servergrid Announcements (
http://userlink.servergrid.com/blogs/announce/default.aspx)
Organized in chronological order and covering all new developments at Servergrid. Also provides for public comments and supports several notification methods.
Features planned for the near future:
Next Generation Knowledge Base (
http://userlink.servergrid.com/forums/thread/12.aspx)
Will improve upon and replace the current KB on our web site by adding many of the above collaboration and notification features and facilitating easy dynamic inclusion of new information.
Forum Leaders and Bloggers (
http://userlink.servergrid.com/forums/thread/14.aspx)
Active and interested UserLink members will be offered the chance to provide additional help on the forums or original content for blogs. This will be a chance for you to earn free hosting (or other compensation) and to become a semi-official part of the Servergrid team, eligible for first consideration in new hiring.
Your input is requested (
