Announcing ASP.NET 3.5 support

I'm happy to report that Servergrid is now offering support for ASP.NET 3.5!  At this time all new standard accounts and all new reseller end user accounts default to ASP.NET 3.5.  Also, installation has been completed on all existing Windows 2003 servers (win2, win5, win11, and win16 through win29).  If your account is on one of these servers and your site was previously using ASP.NET 2.0 (the default on win19 and higher) your site is already running ASP.NET 3.5.  The upgrade was designed in a way that it will not have a negative impact on existing ASP.NET 2.0 code and will transparently provide access to the new features of ASP.NET 3.5.  If you are on one of the above servers and your site is still running ASP.NET 1.1, please contact us if you are uploading changes which require ASP.NET 3.5 so we can upgrade your domain for you.  For customers on older servers, which are running Windows 2000, please enter a ticket from within your control panel if you require the new features of ASP.NET 3.5 so we can review your account and advise you of your options.

With ASP.NET 3.5 you are now able to upload projects which were created with Visual Studio 2008, make use of the integrated ASP.NET AJAX support, and take advantage of new web controls, streamlined database programming components, and other improvements.  We hope you enjoy these new features and we'll be happy to assist with any questions you have.

WOW... I wasn't expecting ServerGrid to support 3.5 until sometime next year!   Having just acquired Visual Studio 2008 two days ago, this is good news for me :)
