Servergrid UserLink

The first work-in-progress for UserLink, as mentioned on the welcome page, is the Next Generation Knowledge Base.  This is intended to replace our current Knowledge Base found at http://servergrid.com/support/

If you have any likes/dislikes about the current system you'd like to share so we can keep these in mind as we finish the new system please post them here.  Also, we're taking suggestions for new content so please feel free to suggest anything you feel would be helpful.

Yes, step-by-step directions for installation of DotNetNuke would be a great addition -- as it is gaining popularity as a popular portal, and because your company specializes in Windows hosting.  (And it would help me out quite a bunch, as you can see in my other post in the forums.)  I'd be glad to share my knowledge of the portal and help other users out in here to the best of my ability if I can get reliable results on doing a DNN install so I can move my other websites to my reseller account here at servergrid.

 The installation necessary for Community Server is similar to that of DotNetNuke, in that it should only require DBO permissions and possibly an application folder if it is not being installed directly into the domain's web root folder. If you need more assistance on the installation of this please enter a ticket to our support staff or make a post on our technical forums and we will be more than happy to help.

The installation of Community Server is very easy.

1. Just upload the contents of the ZIP file
2. Create a database and a user and collect the IP of your database server.
3. Run the installation wizard and follow the onscreen instructions.
