    Hi all,

3 months ago I turned the SPF mechanism on a few of my domains. Hoping it would block some spam but I don't see any changes so far.
I set the prefix level to Softfail, to make sure not to miss any important mail (critical business). So, should and most importantly, can I change the prefix to a tighter level to block more spam?

I'm also wondering by turning on this option it adds this SPF record to my domain. I read somewhere I should add a TXT file to my DNS server and mailserver, but that' something the Servergrid management should do probably?!

     Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can change the SPF ending from softfail (~all) to fail (-all) which will cause it to become more strict in the hosts that it will accept.

The TXT record will be updated in the zonefile for your domain.  It will look something like this:

    domain.com. IN TXT "v=spf1 mx include:domain.com ip4:1.1.1.1 -all"

You can read more about SPF here .
