Servergrid UserLink

The control panel will be brought down for database maintenance on Saturday Jan 6 no earlier than 8pm EST.  This maintenance (postgres cp vacuum) is periodically necessary in order to maintain high performance of the control panel service.  This is expected to last into Sunday morning, and the control panel will be available again as soon as the maintenance is complete.

In the future, is there any chance that you guys could fire off an email about these sort of planned outages? (at least to us resellers? shhhh....)

I didn't have an account on these forums until tonight, and was caught unawares by this outage. I have since subscribed to email updates to this forum. Now I will hunt down any other furums that sound like i should subscribe to.

 A message indicating that Maintenance is being performed, would have been nice :)

You can subscribe to email updates for Network/Server Status using the instructions at the link provided in the post previous to yours, which will automatically notify you whenever an announcement is made via our forums.

At 2:50 PM EST the control panel vacuum was completed.  All services on the control panel are operating normally at this time.  If anyone has any problems still connecting to the control panel, please email us at support@servergrid.com.
