    We are currently troubleshooting a performance issue with the server. We are currently investigating the reason behind this and we will be updating this post when there is more information available.

    Shortly after making this post the server was brought back online and is operating correctly at this time.  If any still has any issues with the server or connectivity issues to the mail server please submit a support ticket from within your Servergrid control panel and we can assist further.

    Although all services were running normally at the time of Calvin's most recent post above, the recovery from the above-mentioned issue extended into today and included a rebuild of the server's RAID array which was taking place in the background while all services remained operational.  During this, we experienced a failure of one of the hard drives, which caused the complete loss of data on the server.  We have replaced the faulty hardware and are currently in the process of rebuilding the software environment and restoring yesterday's backup to the server.  Please note this affects services on mail10.securedc.com and mysql10.securedc.com and these services will be unavailable while the recovery is in progress.  We will post new information and updates here as soon as they become available.  Thank you for your patience.

    The server is currently running a vendor-provided script to recreate all mysql databases and email objects based on the information stored in the control panel database. This takes some time and there is no progress meter so it is not possible for us to estimate how long it may take, but as this process runs your services will gradually become available again. It is necessary for us to wait until this is complete before restoring data so when your databases and mailboxes first become available they will be empty. We will continue to keep you informed via this thread as soon as updated information is available.

    The process to recreate the mysql databases and email objects has just finished successfully, and it will now be necessary for us to temporarily stop the services while we copy the restored data to the correct locations.  This operation will repopulate mailboxes and mysql databases with the data which was previously present.  I'll post again when this is complete.

    We have completed the restore procedures as defined by the software vendor and restarted the services.  If you are experiencing any inconsistencies with any services at this time please enter a support ticket from within your control panel with the complete details necessary for us to reproduce the problem and we will be able to assist with wrapping up any final issues.

    Reports from the field indicate the data was successfully restored in a usable state and the server has been performing well since my last update.  We are considering this matter closed but as always please let us know if we can assist with any aspect of your account.  Thanks to all of you for your patience during the recovery.
