Now Visual Studio 2008 & .NET 3.5 have been released. Anyone knows when we can expect .NET 3.5 to be available on servergrid?

We always monitor the progress of newly released software and will upgrade when it is proven stable for a shared hosting environment.
 

Could you be a little more specific at what it will take to be "proven stable"?  Timeframe? Criteria?  i.e Are we talking about 30 days?  90 days?  Are you waiting for it to be proven stable, or testing it yourself to ensure stability?

If  you guys wanted to offer it in limited release, there are probably a few of us who would take you up on the offer...I have a couple of projects that I need to host on 3.5.

Servergrid is able to provide the stable and high-performance hosting environment you are used to by carefully vetting all new software and upgrades before deployment.  This is done both through internal testing and by working closely with our software vendors.  We aren't able to place a timeframe on this but can assure you that we will do our best to balance overall stability for all customers against the needs of those who require ASP.NET 3.5.  We will be able to offer this version as soon as we are confident it will operate well in our shared hosting environment.  Also with our fully managed dedicated server offerings you are always welcome to run any version of any software you like, including ASP.NET 3.5.
