Since late this morning we have been monitoring a low-grade denial of service flood being conducted against a customer on win29.securedc.com. Filters are being put into place at the firewall to mitigate this and we expect it to be resolved with a minimum of inconvenience and no service interruption. All services have been and still are fully available during this time. The only issues we've heard are a few reports of intermittent timeouts when connecting to our mssql servers from web sites located on win29. We are investigating whether this is due to the flood or the filters being put into place to counteract the flood, and will have this corrected as soon as possible. In the meantime, a possible temporary workaround is to connect to the mssql server via an alternate IP. If the mssql server you're connecting with is listed below please use the listed IP to connect if you would like to attempt this temporary workaround:
mssql3 - 10.4.200.138
mssql4 - 10.4.200.146
mssql5 - 10.10.139.4
mssql6 - 10.10.139.22
If the mssql server you're using is not listed above or you do not wish to attempt this temporary workaround, rest assured we are actively working on this and will have this fully resolved with no action necessary on your part. Thanks for your understanding and all available updates will be posted to this forums thread.
